Buried in the Soil of God's Love

I usually have no idea at all what I am going to type in these posts.  I did read a wonderful scripture this morning though, and I wanted to share it with you.

It is Ephesians 3:17-19

"May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love;

and may you be able to feel and understand, as all God's children should,

how long,

how wide,

how deep,

and how high

his love really is;

and to experience this love for yourselves,

though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it."

WOW!!!  And Paul wrote that while IN PRISON and said in Eph. 3:13

"Please don't lose heart at what they are doing to me here.  It is for you I am suffering and you should feel honored and encouraged."

I hope that if I am ever put in prison for my beliefs, that I will be able to feel "honored and encouraged".

This is my prayer for myself and all of you today, that you may feel God's marvelous love to the extent described in Ephesians 3:17-19.  I want my roots to go deeper and deeper into THAT soil, don't you?
