Middle of the Night

I am having one of "those" nights.  You know the kind -- where you go to bed at your usual time, but you toss and turn and your legs won't be still and your mind won't turn off, and you just can't get to sleep.  Then on top of that, my nose has decided to run and not stop causing continual blowing and Kleenex consumption that could cause a national shortage!

I kid you not.  I look an awful lot like this lady except my housecoat is white and fuzzy!  I am sitting in my glider in the living room typing between blows and sneezes.  I've had THREE pills:  Benadryl, Nyquil and Mucinex-D.

I am not sick.  This just happens once in awhile.  Jerry will yell at me in the morning and say it was the iced tea I drank at lunch today.  Maybe it is.

I have cowl news and pictures, but I won't post those until tomorrow.  It's a lot of work to do pics, and it requires hands without Kleenex in them!

Until soon,
Hugs,
Joy

  1. Good morning Joy. Sorry you are sniffling!

I was reading "High-Fashion Sewing" by Claire Shaeffer and thought of you when I read about how to make a cowl stay. Essentially it is a facing to hold the folds in place. I bet you can find some info in one of your many sewing books if you don't have this book. If you cant't find the info email me at: leyba8553@msn.com and I will scan the two pages for you.

    Take care and get well!
