BEWARE of Killer Coffee Pots!

Thanks to Terry's Facebook page, I have found out about the latest KILLER of unknowing coffee lovers everywhere.

Watch my video for more information:

I HOPE that the following will take you to the article about the Keurig, and you can read it as it was actually written.

We are headed to the Neurosurgeon tomorrow morning (see video) and then to Springfield to FINALLY pick up Jerry's birthday boat.

Deb has to work, so I may not get to go to FM Fabrics.  Maybe I can find it by myself.  That lady in my phone might know how to get there.

My computer doesn't work at Deb's house, so you probably won't hear from me for a few days.

Hugs, Joy

  1. Thanks for the info on the coffee ...did not know about the fair trade and shadow-growing either :(
Hope all goes well with your neurosurgeon.....take care and enjoy the visit with your friends!
Oh yeah....that cynic comment you mentioned ....the bitter, empty souls will always do the bidding of the father of lies....in your case it is to see if they can trip your lovely, joyful nature to become sour and negative....
Forget about the uglies of this world.....
    Keep looking UP! ♥♥♥

  2. I've been subscribed to your utube channel & decided to check out your blog. I enjoy your posts & know if we lived closer we would be friends. Thinking about trying sure fit patterns. I am a brand new quilter. Your quilts are all so beautiful. I only have 1 machine, a brother nx200 but I really like it. My sister bought it for me many years ago. Have an awesome trip

    1. Thank you, Pat. You can quilt a top with your regular sewing machine. There are hundreds of youtube videos and Craftsy classes to teach you how. Google "Leah Day". She does all her quilts on her regular sewing machine, and she has a bunch of free information on quilt designs.

  3. Hi Joy, I bet that horrible woman who left a nasty comment wouldn't dare say those things to your face.
On the subject of allergies, it's possible that you may be overproducing histamine, or that you lack the enzyme that breaks down histamine in the body (called DAO I think) and it is a genetic condition. You can buy a supplement of DAO from Amazon. I hope that is useful.

  4. I LOVE your videos! and you are sooo right when you said, 'she is the one who looks bad, not you.'
Ignore the nay-sayers, there are so many more out there that like and adore you...don't you dare go away.

  6. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and kindness to all. I do consider you as a cyber friend. You have a interesting presence of the blogs, videos I read everyday. I have been folowing you for a while.
When we finally get finished with the house in Hawaii( long story) I would like to email or send you a picture of the colorful blouse I made of the same material you got in Springfield. I was in such low point in my life and you were so uplifting.
I had people doing similar things to me on social media. They are called bullies. No one deserve this. It hurts me to think there are peoplel like that in the world.
Keep doing what you love. Sending you good vibes, Karma from Hawaii

  7. One more thing. Love the polka dot blouse you had on. I am mad about polka dots. If you don't mind can you tell me the pattern you use? I like that very much. Looks like a self draft. Love to make one like it, of course in a different color.

Mahalo for being an inspiration to new sewers

  8. Thank you so much for your information about the killer coffee pot. We have one at work but I never use it thank God. I've been reading your blog and watching your videos for several years and I would really be upset if you would even think about stopping because of some dim wit who is probably so jealous she can't stand it. Don't even give her a second thought. Onward we go my friend. lol
