Simplicity 8602

These pictures are HORRIBLE quality.  I used my cell phone with the timer on so I could run and jump up on that chair and pose real fast.

I will take better pics tomorrow and come back and post them.

Jerry worked super late tonight.  He is upstairs waiting for me to watch TV with him.  I bet anything he will be sound asleep when I get up there.  Bless his heart.  He works so hard.

Be back soon with better pictures.

Have a FABULOUS Friday.

Hugs, Joy

  1. Hello Joy! I don't think I have ever commented on a blog before, but I decided I have been reading and watching your videos so much it is probably rude not to at least say hello! A few months ago I had a surgery and while I was recovering I enjoyed watching all kinds of quilting and sewing videos. I stumbled upon your youtube videos while I was searching for craft room organizational ideas. You reminded me of a couple of cousins in my family that also had pretty brown eyes and similar mannerisms. I actually watched you for a few hours, you are a hoot! I love how you bring everyone into your sewing room and make us feel involved in your projects! I even got emotional when you talked about your mom. I thought of you and said a prayer for you many, many times because I know what it is like to care for a loved one. It is so hard, but so rewarding at the same time. I had watched a few videos before I came across one where you mentioned where you lived. I am an Okie too! I live just outside of Tulsa! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you hello and how much a have enjoyed watching your videos and seeing what you are making. Thank you for sharing! Aimee H. - fellow Okie

  2. Good Morning Joy
I just watched your vlog on Jalie's pull on pants. Jalie is a Canadian designer. She's been around in Canada for about 30 years or so when I first started working in the sewing industry. Her patterns will be written in French ( her first language ) and English. Love all your posts! Cheryl

  3. Love this top.. The fit is perfect.. I watched your youtube channel on the fitting last night.. Wonderful job. So helpful.. thank you.
