WINNER has been chosen for S8925.

Hello my friends!

IF you watched my new video from 6-3-19, then you know what to do regarding S8925.  Go to the comments below and click on "comments".  (It may have a number and then "comments" or it may say "No Comments".  Click on whatever is there with the word "comments" in it.)  It will take you to the proper place to leave one.

Be sure to follow the instructions I gave you in my VLOG.  (This will END 6-7-19.)

If any of you watch someone regarding sewing, quilting, styling or aging that I don't know about, I would love to have the Youtube name from you.

Here is my VLOG where I talk about this BLOG:

I better get back to organizing all the new fabric I received recently from my friend Mary and from Fabric Mart Fabrics.  I'm a little ticked at FMF because they have sent several pieces with flaws lately.  I emailed them about one, but I have not heard back.

Remember what to do below about S8925!

Hugs, Joy

  7. S8925. I recommend the site made to sew. The woman who teaches is great and is very beautiful to watch. She has been off for new vlogs for a while because she and her husband moved from the UK to Australia. But her teaching that is already there is very nice. Thanks for your videos. I feel like you are a friend even though we have never met. I live in Tulsa and you seem like a neighbor. I have gone back and watched everything you ever posted. Whew. You would think I had other things to do. Anyway. You always make my day. Good luck with your fasting. I lost 30 pounds last year doing it. Watch Edward V on Fledge Fitness who does a lot of learned teaching on fasting. I learned so much from him that I became a patron of his. Message too long. Love ❤️ to you

  19. Welcome back to your blog .. LOL! Here's another fantastic vlog; I've mentioned her to you before, but I know you get so many comments on the vlog, you missed it. She is adorable, a self-taught seamstress, fun and daring enough to even hack patterns. Mostly she's figured out the easiest, most practical way of accomplishing a sewing task. I enjoy her vlogs a lot, and there are many, but all interesting for we sewists. She's introduced me to satin bias tape, and I'm on eBay scouting some after I use up my supply. Karina lives in Brazil, and she knows what looks good on her and what she likes. I think you'll enjoy watching her vlogs as much as I. Here it is:

As for quilting I also watch Power Tools with Thread, Jordan Fabrics, Missouri Star and of course your channel. The quilts I've seen displayed are gorgeous. One day I plan to get out to Oklahoma, Oregon and Missouri to check the quilt shops. I hope your cell tower will help on your internet problem unless your like us and Dish ties into Spectrum's internet line and causes the whole neighborhood to have poor reception. LOL You have a blessed day!

  35. I really enjoy your videos. As a recently retired family and consumer sciences teacher, who taught mostly foods and nutrition I missed out on a lot of great sewing techniques and tips. You inspire me to begin sewing again. I make dignity robes for radiation patients with a lovely group of church ladies and this year I started sewing for the Still Remembered Project making burial gowns for babies from donated wedding gowns. Each gown is unique and beautiful,I do this in honor of my 2 angels. (There was no such program in the day.) Thanks for your list of videos, I watch Viv Mom, Becky and Whitney. Keep smiling, laughing and being Joy, you brighten my day. Thanks Lorraine

  92. Another person you might enjoy is Vanessa the Crafty Gemini. YouTube craftygemini and she is on Facebook by the same name. She does a lot of crafty items but has gotten into garments as well. She just opened up her own shop in Gainesville Florida and you can purchase online as well. She homeschools her 2 children and the family runs a self sustaining farm. She use to do tutorials with Jenny at Missouri Star but has branched out on her own pretty much now.
I use to watch Debbie Shore. She is in England. She has a long list of books she has written, awards she has received, but has gone to a subscription based viewership so I rarely see much new stuff anymore. Her YouTube channel is Debbie Shore and she has a large library of crafty stuff and garment sewing as well.
Although my Grandmother was a fashion designer and seamstress I personally don’t sew garments and am more of a quilter and crafter.
I do however love your videos, you kindness and joyfullness makes me smile.
Continue your joyful life and may God continue to bless you with happiness.
